Proposed phasing of the project is as follows:

Phase 2 – Water Main Replacement between Mound and Bay Street and Mill & Overlay Pavement: This work will be coordinated with the pipeline work associated with the Lift Station 87 project (scheduled to start in June 2020) and the temporary closure of Osprey Avenue at the Hudson Bayou bridge.
Phase 3 – Water Main Replacement between Mound and 10th Street: Once the new force main is operational and the existing force main pipe is available for slip-lining, this segment of water main will be completed in three (3) subphases: 3a) slip line new water main and connect existing customers to the new main between 1st Street and 10th Street; 3b) “open cut” segment between Mound and Brother Geenan; and 3c) slip line new water main and connect existing customers to the new main between Brother Geenan Way and 1st Street.
Phase 4 – Sidewalk Ramps, Pedestrian Crossings and Signals: This work will be performed along Osprey Avenue as the water and sewer work is completed.
Phase 5 – Roadway Milling & Overlay between Bay St. and 10th Street: This work will be performed after the water and sewer work and the pedestrian improvements are complete.
Areas disturbed by construction will be temporarily restored immediately to a serviceable condition until final restoration is completed.
